The 312.34ft /95.2m Custom motor yacht 'KISMET' was built in 2014 by Lurssen and has been announced as the largest yacht to date attending the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2015 (FLIBS), following her first year of chartering.
The yacht's interior has been designed by Reymond Langton Design and her exterior styling is by Espen Oeino.
Lurssen's largest charter yacht to date was recognized as "Displacement Motor Yacht' (of 75m and above) of the year at this year's World Superyacht Awards 2015. Kismet's interior layout can accommodate up to 12 guests in 8 staterooms, including a master suite. She is also capable of carrying up to 28 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and elegant seating feature throughout her living areas to create a lavish yet comfortable atmosphere.
A host of luxury amenities, including a large swimming pool and Jacuzzi area, movie theatre, spa, an outdoor fireplace and winter garden deck space set her apart from the rest.
Reymond Langton Design is responsible for Kismet's beautiful interior and have used a variety of handmade textiles and artwork, exotic woods and rare marble to create an exceptionally high quality feel throughout. Kismet's impressive leisure and entertainment facilities make her the ideal charter yacht for socializing and entertaining with family and friends.
As for the performance, Kismet is capable of 17 knots flat out, with a cruising speed of 14 knots. She also features "at anchor stabilisers' which work at zero speed, increasing onboard comfort at anchor and on rough waters. Speaking on the announcement, president of the group organising FLIBS, Efrem 'Skip' Zimbalist III, said that her presence at the show was "going to be a real highlight." One of the most the exclusive charter yachts, Kismet's weekly rates begin at approximately 1,200,000 ($1,300,000), excluding add-ons.
Update: It seems that Kismet will after all not be participating in the show. We have reached out to Lurssen for comment.
