The Edison Foundation's scenario analyses show that the Italian economy has quickly emerged from the economic crisis generated by the pandemic, with Italian manufacturing able to rely on its diversification of production. With a production structure consisting of multiple niches of excellence, Italy's mechanical engineering and transport equipment sectors have been less affected by global supply disruptions. The Italian marine industry exceeded €3 billion in exports in 2022, with a record year for superyacht production, further strengthening Italy's global leadership in this area.

The latest edition of "Monitor" also contains a chapter dedicated to trends across the sector with an outlook on the world yachting market extracted from Deloitte's study and international market analyses collected by ICOMIA. The definitive official figures will be available in the new edition of "La Nautica in Cifre LOG," to be presented during the opening day of the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show on September 21.
