Italian marine industry companies are once again making their mark on the global yachting scene at the 2024 Miami International Boat Show.
Organized by the Italian Marine Industry Association, Confindustria Nautica, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian delegation stands out among the exhibitors. According to Saverio Cecchi, President of the Italian Marine Industry Association, the Miami Boat Show reaffirms the importance of the US market for Italian exports. Italy's dominance in yacht production, inflatable units, and boating equipment underscores its leading position in the global maritime industry.
Moreover, the Miami event serves as a platform to announce the ICOMIA 2025 World Marinas Conference, scheduled to be held in Venice from October 15th to 17th, 2025. Roberto Perocchio, Councillor and President of the "Nautical Tourism, Marinas and Dedicated Services" segment of the Italian Marine Industry Association, expressed pride in Italy's selection as the host country for this prestigious conference. He emphasized the strategic significance of this decision in highlighting Italy's role in the international marine industry and showcasing the country's marina services and recreational boating industry on a global scale.
Looking ahead, the Italian Marine Industry Association has a packed calendar of international promotional initiatives lined up for 2024. These include participation in prominent events such as the Dubai International Boat Show, CLIA Cruise Week Europe in Genoa, NYCxDESIGN in New York, SMM Hamburg, IBEX Show in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, and Metstrade in Amsterdam.
