The 70m ice explorer Polaris has been launched at the Rossinavi facility in Viareggio in January 2021. The yacht, previously known as Project King Shark, became the largest yacht built by this Italian shipyard.
Polaris was built for an experienced owner, who already has the 48m yacht Parillion, formerly known as Polaris I, which was also built by Rossinavi.

Polaris has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

The exterior and interior designs were made by Enrico Gobbi’s Team for Design. For Enrico Gobbi it was also not the first time that he was working for the owner. He made the yacht silhouette very elegant, with curved details.
Main deck cockpit
Some features have been added at the request of the owners: a private terrace on the owner's deck and a 6m infinity pool on the main aft deck.
Crystal chandelier at the lobby
The yacht can be characterized by a very elegant interior, timeless and elegant which impresses from the first sight. There are custom designed furniture, crystal chandeliers and semi precious stones.
Upper deck salon
The 70m explorer can accommodate twelve guests and seventeen crew members. Wellness zone takes the important role on board – the gym might be used as a space for yoga classes. The owner suite is located at the upper deck and has its own private terrace.
Owner's suite
Polaris was built with the ability to navigate in extreme ice conditions, including in the Arctic and Antarctica. She’s able to move from the warm waters of the Caribbean to the sub-zero conditions of Antarctica.
Gym
She has a cruising speed of 15.0 knots and a top speed of 17.0 knots. The yacht has a range of 6000 nautical miles at a speed of 15.0 knots.
Rossinavi is an Italian manufacturer of custom steel and aluminium superyachts 28m in size and larger. The Rossi shipyard was founded in the 1970s and is located in Viareggio.
