Reina Boats introduced the Houseyacht this fall, a novel concept stemming from the minds of Reina founders Hayri Dayi and Emin Günal.
Designed by Günal, the Reina Houseyacht lineup encompasses models ranging from 7m to 18m. This innovative range features five models catering to a variety of preferences, from a floating RV to an opulent two-story "waterfront condo."
Hailing from Turkey, the construction of Reina Houseyachts is currently underway. The Reina Live 44 DR is set to make its debut in Miami come September 2023, marking its global premiere at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.
The inception of the Houseyacht concept was triggered by the Covid pandemic, as the Reina team observed a surge in interest not only in the boating lifestyle but also in water-based family vacations.
Venturing into the US houseboat market, Günal and Dayi identified a gap. They noticed that existing houseboat designs were largely outdated, primarily catering to commercial rentals. This realization prompted them to craft the innovative Houseyacht concept, aiming to merge luxury and accessibility without compromising quality.
Reina adheres to CE Class C, ABYC, and US Coast Guard standards. Boasting marine-grade aluminum construction, the hull design follows catamaran engineering principles.
The Reina lineup employs Mercury outboard engines, aligning with the brand's sustainability goals. The latest Mercury outboards are fuel-efficient, eco-friendly, and certified with ultra-low emissions ratings.
In addition, Reina offers lithium-ion phosphate batteries, further reducing emissions by eliminating the need for a generator.
Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Reina Boats specializes in house yachts, pontoon boats, and recreational seaborne vehicles.
