The Milan-based studio Hot Lab has revealed further details of its latest superyacht designed for Bilgin Yachts in Turkey, which is set to be launched this summer: the 50-meter Bilgin 163 superyacht Eternal Spark.
Eternal Spark is the latest addition to Hot Lab's extensive portfolio of Turkish projects. With an exterior design and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design, she paired with an interior by Hot Lab.
One of the standout features of Eternal Spark is its intelligent use of natural light, enhancing the harmony between its interior and exterior design. A broad staircase cleverly carries light from the sundeck down to the lower deck, creating a mesmerizing effect through strategically placed mirrored strips that amplify the reflections.
She can accommodate 12 guests across six spacious staterooms. Hot Lab's Head of Design, Enrico Lumini, shares insights into the thoughtfully crafted interior. Using a palette of over 60 natural finishes, including 14 different marbles, each stateroom presents unique color combinations, lending a light, fresh, and sunny atmosphere reminiscent of a villa on the Côte d'Azur.
With a capacity to host over 100 people at events, Eternal Spark features four decks, five separate bars, and seven distinct socializing areas, making it an ideal yacht for unforgettable parties. Additionally, it offers ample storage for water toys and gym equipment, an indoor and outdoor cinema, and a sunken-level beach club with a sauna, ice fountain, and a spacious lounging area.
Performance-wise, the Bilgin 163 Eternal Spark is powered by twin 1,450 CAT engines, providing a top speed of 16.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles.
“The Bilgin 163, Eternal Spark, fits with our latest philosophy of ‘Architecture for Voyagers’ which we have been showcasing in all of our recent projects. This emphasizes the cleanliness of architectural volumes, as well as a renewed sense of the softness of lines. We are looking to showcase what we call ‘plastic minimalism’ which is sober but rich in details. Through this, we are rediscovering the luxury of pure craftsmanship, carefully-chosen precious materials and always bringing the attention to detail to our projects which makes us stand apart as a studio,” says Antonio Romano, Commercial Director of The Viken Group and co-founder of Hot Lab.
Eternal Spark’s debut is scheduled at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023.
The Viken Group includes Tillberg Design of Sweden, Hot Lab and Thalia Marine.
