Taiwanese shipyard Horizon Yachts is preparing to launch the latest superyacht in the CC series, the CC110 Abaco. Built for a five-time Horizon owner from Germany, the yacht is almost 90% complete after a year under construction; she is ready to undergo her final testing phase and will be launched in the New Year. Measuring 33.53m, Abaco is scheduled for delivery in February 2017.
Under the supervision of the owner’s representative Stefan Zucker & Partners, Beiderbeck Design formed her elegant exterior lines and Horizon contributed the experienced in-house design team for the interior.
The voluminous main salon opens with curved wood cabinetry to port and starboard seating that will accommodate 20 guests. Formal dining is in close proximity to both the main salon and the port-side galley, allowing for the owner to entertain guests easily between the three areas. Three large en suite guest staterooms are offered on Abaco: a full-beam, on-deck master and two guest staterooms below deck. For the ultimate outdoor experience, the flybridge is appointed with aft sun loungers for soaking up rays as well as center-line dinette seating that allows maximum ocean views. On the aft deck, a large settee and dining table will play host for many family gatherings at sea, and for watersports, the aft tender garage can, at the touch of a button, lower the swim platform to launch a 5.1m (16.5 foot) tender; the area can also be used as a beach club for guests while swimming, diving, or simply relaxing.
Equipped with twin MTU16V 2600HP engines, the superyacht also offers Boening monitoring system, FURUNO navigation system, zero speed stabilizers, and WEBASTO electronic sunroof system.
The shipyard also has Horizon E98 motoryacht Do It Now under construction for a repeat customer who is moving up from a Horizon 76 motoryacht.
