Chinese shipyard Heysea Yachts has unveiled its latest 47m superyacht concept Heysea 152. 



Initially designed for one of the existing clients, the vessel was destined for Shenzhen, but, unfortunately, no berth large enough to accommodate the yacht was found in the city. Therefore the client selected a different model from the same shipyard. 



Heysea 152 is for sale with YPI asking $18,680,000.

Speed, Style and Grace: Otam Custom Range 115 Concept
The Otam Custom Range 115 is another fully engineered model in Otam Aluminium Custom Range. The exterior lines by BG Design Firm, the same studio behind the new Otam 70 HT, are inspired by the aeronautical and automotive worlds to reflect the brand’s racy DNA. Design details include the chromed ventilation vents in the transom and the air inlet on top of the hardtop.“The philosophy behind the Otam Aluminium Custom Range is that it is fully bespoke and aimed at clients who don’t just want a boat – they want to build their ideal project,” says Otam Sales Director Matteo Belardinelli. “Over 30 meters we build in aluminium rather than advanced composites because it provides much more flexibility to personalise the yacht in every way, from the exterior aesthetics and interior layout to the propulsion specifications.”The deep-V hull has been developed by Umberto Tagliavini Marine Design to provide excellent seakeeping, comfortable entry into waves and high speeds. Extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEM) ensures a rigid hull that is not prone to flexing or twisting, while Computional Fluid Dynamics (CFD) serves to optimise performance and handling at sea.Clients can choose between a 3-engine configuration with MTU 2600-hp engines and a KaMeWa waterjet central booster for a top speed of 44 knots (cruising speed 32 knots) or twin MTU engines for a top speed of 35 knots (cruising speed 28 knots). Because no moulds are used in the aluminium construction, clients can choose to customise their yacht in multiple ways. There are various layout options for the aft cockpit, flybridge and vast foredeck. The four stateroom standard layout comprises an airy, open-plan salon and dining area behind the wheelhouse on the main deck where the extensive glazing is designed to provide panoramic sea views, even when seated. There are two en suite guest staterooms on the lower deck, a large VIP stateroom and a full-beam master stateroom amidships, together with a gym or SPA or a big pantry for best service on board 24h. Between the owner’s suite and the engine room is the dedicated crew accommodation and galley. The transom garage can house a 4.20m tender and jet ski. The shipyard’s history started in 1954 in Liguria. Its professionalism is what made it stand out, very quickly becoming the first authorized Riva yacht Service Center for the Med Sea. In the 80’s Otam fit around 25 yachts for an American builder before starting his own production of Otam 45’ and 55’, earning significant attention. Pershing 6X: the New Entry in the Generation X Range
Pershing 6X expresses the boldest and most daring side of the brand’s character – it compact but in no way incomplete, it packs all the best of the brand’s leading-edge technology into a compact form factor.The 18.94m long and 4.8m wide, Pershing 6X is the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari, the design firm headed by Fulvio De Simoni, and the Group’s Engineering Department.The exterior styling shares the same family feeling as the other Generation X models. The new yacht has a highly aerodynamic profile and large glazed surfaces in the hull that flood the lower deck with natural light. The main novelties include style features that clearly reflect Pershing’s approach to design in recent years, further improving functional and comfort-related design goals without affecting performance. They include the new styling of the big aft sun pad, the carbon and teak table in the cockpit dining area, and the chaise longue with reclining backrest positioned forward. The most important new feature on the main deck is the helm station, made up of a dashboard with two 19-inch monitors, carbon fibre control panels and an electro-hydraulic steering system. Also available is an innovative joystick coupled to the surface drive with various advanced operating modes, including ‘easy handling’ for ground-breaking manoeuvrability in ports and confined waters. A large sunroof opens over the dashboard to take cruising enjoyment to the next level. The first Pershing 6X unit has a layout with three cabins – owner, forward VIP and starboard guest – and three bathrooms with separate showers. The version for the American market has two cabins– owner and VIP – with a living space replacing the guest cabin. Both versions have a crew cabin entered from the cockpit, with a single bed and integrated bathroom. Pershing 6X has a top speed of almost 48 knots and a cruising speed of about 42 knots, with a pair of 1,550 mhp MAN V12 1550 engines. Amels 78m Full Custom Has Touched the Water
The Amels 78m Full Custom superyacht reached a major milestone in her build journey as she touched water for the first time since arriving at the yard in January last year. In the presence of the owner’s team and the designers involved in the project, as well as the Amels and Damen Yachting team, the pumps to the dry dock were started. As the water flowed into the dock, the keel of this first Amels Full Custom to be built since the introduction of the Amels Limited Editions concept was submerged, floating her up off her dry dock. The custom interiors are made by Zuretti Interior Designers. The exterior design is made by Espen Øino. “It’s definitely a unique project. The large open top deck, large aft pool and very wide side decks that can be utilised as private guest balconies are features which come together to make this design very special,” says Espen Øino about the exterior.With a gross tonnage of 2,850, the Amels 78m Full Custom will be the largest Amels superyacht to date in terms of volume on delivery. Tankoa Yachts Has Sold the First Tankoa T580
Tankoa Yachts has announced the sale of the new T580 yacht. This is the first 58m model. This sale, conducted and completed in collaboration with Giancarlo Mussino, Managing Director of Sinos S.A., who introduced the client and will represent them during construction, once again confirms the ability of the Genoa-based shipyard to develop fully customisable projects. The yacht’s hull will be built in steel with aluminium superstructures. The exterior design is by Francesco Paszkowski, while the interiors are by Margherita Casprini. From the first previews, the Tankoa T580 will be a "World Wide Explorer" with a sporty profile, able to cover long cruises thanks to a range of more than 5 thousand nautical miles. She will also have a helideck at the bow, six cabins in addition to the crew cabins, a large beach club with folding side walls to make the most of "a private island" and a garage capable of accommodating two tenders, including a 9-metre limo tender."With the sale of this vessel, Tankoa consolidates its portfolio of orders," says Euro Contenti, CEO of Tankoa Yachts. Alia Yachts Has Launched the New Support Ship
The Turkish yard has launched a 36m custom support vessel. PHI Phantom, part of the PHI Project, is a great example of the yard’s metalworking skills, and features striking in-house interior design. Cor D Rover was responsible for her exterior styling, and naval architecture was by Van Oossanen. Destined to support the custom superyacht PHI by Royal Huisman, PHI Phantom reflects many elements of the larger yacht’s design.The hull was to have no fairing to finish it, so the plates had to be very accurately bent in three dimensions, then welded without creating the slightest distortion. It is flawlessly painted in the exact same matt blue-grey as the mothership. She also shares the horizontal grille work at the bow and echoes the swooping shearline of the larger vessel.PHI Phantom is built to cross oceans carrying the tenders and toys that the mothership has no garage to stow. The key here is a 9m HS Marine crane capable of lifting 5.5 tonnes out of the water and onto the vast 150 square-metre aft deck. It has more than enough power to handle the 14m gentleman’s tender currently taking shape at Spirit Yachts, as well as the Axopar 37 Suntop. A hydraulically operated lazarette under the deck stores further toys in a protected environment.However, the boat is also a technical marvel in other respects. Every system is over-specced, so as to be as reliable as possible. From pumps and piping to hydraulics and electrics, everything is designed to be as bombproof as possible. With a patented Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen and twin Cat C-32 engines, PHI Phantom has a range of 4,200 nautical miles at 12 knots cruising speed. Flat out, she’ll do 21 knots to match the slim, easily driven hull of the mothership.The interior is designed to be as functional as possible, yet finished to superyacht crew standards. There are berths for up to six crew, but the boat is classified for handling by just three. This means that there is extra space on board, and one of the cabins has been designated as a guest cabin, with a little more volume and a desk. “When PHI Phantom does begin her adventures, she will represent one of the most robust and stylish support vessels ever built,” says Çelik. “Alia Yachts is incredibly proud to have brought this project to life, which showcases our incredibly high standards of craftsmanship and finish.”PHI Phantom is undergoing its final sea-trials now and will be delivered to the owner in June.Alia Yachts was founded in 2008 by Gokhan Çelik and Omer Koray.
