Azimut has introduced the Fly 62, the latest addition to its renowned flybridge series, featuring the innovative beach cockpit. This new model, launched on July 29th at the Avigliana production plant, marks a significant advancement in the evolution of flybridge yachts.
Historically, Azimut has been synonymous with the modern flybridge. The Fly 62 continues the shipyard's tradition of innovation, fulfilling its commitment to offer owners and enthusiasts novel uses of space and unique solutions. This new model harmonizes design know-how with owners’ desires, aiming to enhance the connection to the sea, even on a flybridge designed for extended stays on board.
The Beach Cockpit is a standout feature of the Fly 62. The transom opens outwards, and with synchronized movement, the sofa lowers to create a large sunbathing area close to the water. This design eliminates physical barriers, allowing for a unique connection to the sea. On board, passengers can enjoy various activities, from dining and swimming to sunbathing, all while sharing the experience.
The exterior design by Alberto Mancini draws inspiration from the latest trends in the automotive world and the functional and aesthetic evolution of SUVs. The superstructure of the Fly 62 advances towards the bow, enhancing the cockpit's development while maintaining the sporty aesthetic of the Azimut Fly Series. The new hardtop features hyper-modern lines that complement the horizontal development of the hull windows.
For the interiors, Azimut has collaborated with architect Fabio Fantolino for his second project with the shipyard. Fantolino has designed open spaces free of visual obstacles, creating a sense of unrestricted closeness to the sea. The interior environments are characterized by a clean and fresh design with minimalistic details.
The Fly 62 is set to make its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, scheduled from September 10th to 15th.
