WiLder has launched the 18.9-meter all-aluminum WiLder 60 shipyard. With this second launch in less than a month, confirms its path of growth.
With design coming from Wider Centro Stile, the in-house design team, the first WiLder 60 is a showcase in Wider’s commitment to excellence.
“The launch of the first WiLder 60 in Fano is not just a milestone for Wider and for the WiLder brand, but also represents a leap forward in what a 60-footer can offer and how can be built,” says Marcello Maggi, at the helm of W-Fin Sarl, the holding company that owns 100% of Wider equity. “Everything about the WiLder 60 is extraordinary, from her 40 knot performance to her totally custom layout and finish. This is superyacht-standard bespoke building but offered in an 18.9-metre all-aluminum model, with zero compromise on quality for zero-compromise owners. There’s simply nothing else like her.”
The first WiLder 60 has been built for a European owner and her custom layout and finish has been completed to the owner’s exacting specifications. Coupled to the performance hull, which was developed by the naval architecture team at Wider Engineering, is an interior that features two twin guest suites amidships plus a forward owner’s cabin with inviting centreline double and starboard-side ensuite. Between the two is a saloon equipped with designer galley cabinets and a relaxation area with sofa and television.
Interior touches include smooth leathers in contrasting shades of beige, marbles, brilliantly conceived lighting and beautiful gloss finishes that draw on Wider’s extensive experience building some of the world’s finest superyachts.
Up top, the WiLder’s appeal to the wild side is clear –there’s a forward party deck, aft social deck with sunpads and alfresco dining area, and a starboard helm. From here, the owner will be able to fully enjoy the sparkling performance of the WiLder 60, propelled by twin MAN V8 1300 engines, achieving a cruising speed of 35 knots and a maximum speed of 40 knots. A 325-nautical-mile range ensures that no party is too far.
While the first WiLder 60 was launched at the Fano Vision Hub, where the testing of new models takes place, the WiLder series will be built at Wider’s Superyacht Hub in Venice, where two more bespoke WiLder 60s – each set to stun on their respective launches – are already in build.
Wider yachts are designed and built with a strong focus on performance, significantly reducing fuel consumption, noise and vibrations emitted without forgetting the aesthetics of the design and the quality of the materials. Founded in 2010, the shipyard is now lead-by Marcello Maggi who heads W-Fin Sarl, the holding Company that owns 100% of Wider’s equity. The three main Wider facilities are based on the East coast of Italy, from Ancona, which is the headquarter, to the new cutting-edge facility in Fano and the new Superyacht Hub in Venice, where superyachts and full-custom projects will be built.

Turkish catamaran specialist VisionF Yachts has sold the third hull in its highly acclaimed 82ft (24.7m) model series. Construction of this elegant aluminium power catamaran is already underway at the cutting-edge shipyard in Yalova, with its launch scheduled for mid-2025.While the striking contemporary design of this latest vessel mirrors that of its predecessors, VisionF Yachts offers a semi-custom approach, allowing for a unique interior configuration. Adopting a galley-up layout, the design allocates a dedicated corner in the spacious saloon for cooking, thereby maximizing accommodation space in the hulls below. This layout enables the inclusion of a luxurious owner’s suite, three VIP cabins, and two crew cabins. In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the prestigious Monegasque yachting brand Wally has launched the wallybeacon initiative, providing students with a unique opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas. The initiative culminated in a two-day event held on November 18-19 at H-FARM Campus, where 16 international teams competed for cash prizes in three different categories.The wallybeacon event kicked off earlier this autumn with a call for proposals that attracted over 80 students from renowned institutions, including Arsutoria School, Bocconi, H-FARM College, IED, International University of Monaco, and POLI.design. Wally challenged participants to develop ideas in three categories: personal goods, innovative living, and smart services and experiences. The first category focused on footwear, bags, and luggage; the second on multifunctional furniture and functional design objects; and the third on digital products and “phygital” experiences, merging the digital and physical realms.Following an initial selection process, 16 successful teams were each paired with mentors from Wally and strategic design firm MAIZE. They attended business training sessions, received product development support, and were guided through the process of crafting compelling pitch presentations. Participants were encouraged to conduct market surveys, develop business models, and create prototypes, all while emphasizing sustainability.The excitement surrounding the finals was palpable, with Wally Founder and Chief Designer Luca Bassani among the esteemed speakers, alongside notable figures such as Freediving World Champion Alessia Zecchini and International Beatbox Champion Azel.
