The Tankoa T450 series marks a new chapter in luxury yacht design, with the launch of its first unit, christened Go, at the shipyard in Genoa. Sold shortly after its debut in late 2021, Go represents Tankoa's foray into the market of more compact vessels, expanding its renowned range of yachts.
Designed inside and out by the esteemed Giorgio M. Cassetta, the T450 is an innovative project that blends timeless aesthetics with bold vertical elements in the superstructure and sleek horizontal lines. This striking design is complemented by a customized layout tailored to the preferences of the American client, who requested an increase in gross tonnage to 450GT for enhanced interior volume.
Claudio Corvino, Tankoa's sales and business development manager for the Americas and Asia-Pacific, remarks, “The all-new Tankoa T450 Go is a great addition to the Tankoa core fleet of superyachts, offering big volumes without compromising on sleek and elegant lines.”
Go features a spacious master stateroom forward on the main deck and five comfortable guest suites on the lower deck, all flooded with natural light through expansive windows. The yacht's amenities include a generous beach club with opening side platforms and a sliding sunpad, along with a large sundeck equipped with a hydromassage tub and shaded dining area.
Noteworthy additions to the upper deck include a dedicated gym and a fire pit in the bow, providing relaxation options for guests. With a second unit in the T450 series already sold and under construction, alongside the TX450, Go is set to make its international debut at autumn boat shows following its delivery in the spring.
Tankoa was founded in 2007 and began production in 2008. A true “boutique shipyard”, focused on building semi-custom and custom constructions 45-meter and up.
