Amels has sold a fifth hull of Amels 60. She features an exterior design by Espen Oeino, marks a new era for the Amels Limited Editions – the proven technical platform and fast delivery that clients expect. With very distinctive lines, she features hybrid power and propulsion technology. The overall design focuses on the onboard user experience with a feeling of space thanks to the large sun deck, swim platform and folding owners suite balcony together with a generous interior volume of 830 GT. The design also includes provision for a 9m luxury tender to be stowed on the foredeck.
Damen Yachting’s Sales Manager Jorrit Pilaar worked with the new owner throughout the sales process. “We are delighted to confirm the sale of this Amels 60 and it’s a great pleasure to welcome a new Amels client to the fleet. The fact that the client is stepping into the build process relatively early means we have been able to maximise the flexibility of the Limited Editions design platform allowing for a number of client customisations whilst still offering delivery in under three years, which is considered fast in current market conditions.”
With custom interiors by a private designer selected by the owner, a custom charcoal and white superstructure to compliment the white hull and lengthened sun and bridge decks, hull 6005 is a great example of the Amels Limited Editions concept.
The fifth hull will be delivered in Spring 2024.
Damen Yachting, a division of the Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019. It combines the pedigree and heritage of Amels yachts with a growing portfolio of SeaXplorer yachts and Yacht Support vessels.

Heesen Yachts has finalized the sale of YN 21255, known as Project Angelica, marking another milestone for the Dutch shipyard. The deal, completed on December 30, adds to Heesen’s portfolio of 55-meter Steel series yachts and brings a new level of personalization to the renowned line. The client, an experienced superyacht owner, plans to customize the vessel to align with his lifestyle preferences.The collaborative project will involve Heesen’s specialists, the client’s team, and designers from Luca Dini. The yacht’s 760 GT volume and nearly 400 square metres of interior space offer a platform for tailored modifications, including accommodations for up to 12 guests in seven staterooms.Project Angelica’s engineering highlights include a Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) by Van Oossanen, ensuring efficient fuel consumption and stability in diverse sea conditions. Arcadia Yachts has announced the sale of a new A96 model to a client in the Middle East, marking the shipyard's first sale in the region. The transaction, finalized in collaboration with Arcon Yachts, follows the A96's launch just over a year ago. Sialia Yachts has announced the upcoming launch of the Sialia 45, a 14-meter electric cruiser combining high performance with sustainability.
