At the end of October 2016 Riva has launched the first 100’ Corsaro at its facility in La Spezia. Now the shipyard has shared the photo of the yacht sailing on the Ligurian Sea, awaiting her debut in Hong Kong.
The Riva 100' Corsaro is born from the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design - the studio founded by designer Mauro Micheli alongside Sergio Beretta - exclusive designer for the entire Riva fleet, the Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. It is the natural heir to previous models as well as the perfect combination of comfort, performance, style and safety.
The yacht is characterized by a sharp profile, which evokes the shape of an arrow with metallic colors in dark tones and large glass surfaces.
Stefano De Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of the Ferretti Group, said:
The majesty of the 100’ Corsaro has been enormously successful on important markets such as Asia Pacific, for which we have come up with specific solutions that suit the taste of our owners in those countries. We are also very excited, because the 100’ Corsaro will be the first Riva to make its international début in Hong Kong, where we decided to be directly present with a Group’s branch office a few years ago. It will be an unforgettable event in perfect harmony with a brand which has exported Italian expertise throughout the world for more than 170 years

Fincantieri and Ferretti Group announced that they have reached a cooperation agreement with the goal of developing commercial and industrial synergies between the two Italian companies. The partnership was announced during the IDEX-NAVDEX in Abu Dhabi, one of the global exhibitions dedicated to the defense and security sector. Both civil and military, international and national sectors will be part of the partnership. The agreement relates to the security and defense sector and to the recreational yachting industry. Fincantieri, the world’s largest shipbuilding group, and Ferretti Group, one of the most recognized yachting companies, share a particularly interconnected market view, especially after the foundation of FSD, Ferretti Group’s division dedicated to security and defense. We are very pleased to work together with Ferretti Group because Fincantieri, even though it is continuing – with great effort - its internationalization path, does not forget its Italian roots and is keen to network into a system with all the Italian companies that believe to be able to grow together and contribute to their international expansion . In fact, we strongly believe that this agreement – and its future activities - will have significant effects on Italy’s economy demonstrating, once again, that the entire “country system” must be the driver for Italy’s future growth Giuseppe Bono, CEO of FincantieriFerretti is a rapidly evolving and growing Group: the collaboration agreement with a global leader such as Fincantieri represents a recognition and confirmation of our strategy both in the recreational yachting industry and in the security and defense sector where Ferretti Group entered with its new division, FSD. We are certain that we will be able to develop important synergies that will bring benefits not only to both organizations, but especially to the customers, which are particularly keen on product innovation, reliability of supply and ever more demanding to receive outstanding service level. Three factors that have become the priority of our strategies and associate us with the vision of Fincantieri’s leadershipAlberto Galassi, Ferretti Group’s CEO
