Evo Yachts is preparing its first stateside show at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2016 from November 3 to 7.
Through the partnership signed at the recent Cannes Yachting Festival with GMarine, Evo Yacht’s new exclusive dealer for Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean, Evo 43’ will be one of the featured products at the next FLIBS, with the first unit built specifically for the US market sporting a new pearl white livery, a barbecue and ‘tropical’ air conditioning.
To mark the debut, Evo Yachts and GMarine will be launching a new “Evo 43” app, available for download from the App Store and the Android Market, that allows users to climb onboard the new Evo 43 for a virtual tour. But there’s more. By taking a photograph of the boat with their smartphone or tablet, users can create a 3D version of the model that they can explore in detail and customize to their heart’s content. They can open and close the “XTension” side walls, the “Transformer” stern platform and the coupe style hydraulic bimini top, as well as being able to configure their Evo 43’ with options, hull colours, furnishings, cushions and much more.
But the interactive experiments don’t stop here: during the show, Evo Yachts and GMarine will offer their followers a backstage view of Evo 43’s debut in the USA through a Facebook livestream. The livestream will start on Friday November 4 at 1 p.m.
The shipyard is very enthusiastic about these developments:
We’re happy with this new adventure and the opportunity it gives us to present EVO on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean and launch it on one of the world’s most important markets
Evo Yachts’ Alfredo and Rosario Mercuri commented:
A operation like this requires a reliable, professional partner, which is why we’re proud of our collaboration with GMarine, an experienced company with a consolidated local presence. We are confident that with their help, EVO 43 will have the same success in America as it has had in Europe
