Damen Yachting is set to open its doors to the public for its bi-annual Open Day, scheduled for Saturday, September 14, at their main shipyard in Vlissingen. The event, running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience the inner workings of one of the world's leading superyacht builders. Admission is free, with the last entry at 3:00 PM.

The Open Day will provide a structured walking tour that highlights various aspects of the shipyard's operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to view yachts currently under construction, gain behind-the-scenes access to the shipyard, and participate in activities designed for children. The event also aims to offer insights into career opportunities at Damen Yachting and showcase the company's sustainability initiatives.



Damen Yachting, known for its Amels brand luxury superyachts, Xplorer explorer yachts, and Yacht Support vessels, is using this event to highlight the craftsmanship and innovation that underpin its global reputation. Rose Damen, Managing Director at Damen Yachting, noted that the Open Day is an opportunity for the local community to witness the meticulous work involved in building these ocean-going vessels.

The event will also feature interactive engagements with over 30 co-makers, providing a comprehensive look at the various stages of superyacht construction. This hands-on experience is designed to immerse visitors in the complexities and precision required to produce 50-meter-plus yachts, reinforcing Damen Yachting's status as a leader in the industry.

The Open Day aims to strengthen the connection between Damen Yachting and the local community, showcasing the company’s contribution to regional employment and its role in sustaining the tradition of Dutch shipbuilding excellence.

ISA Yachts announces the sale of the fourth unit of its 45-meter ISA Gran Turismo series to a discerning European client, with delivery expected in 2026.The shipyard's skilled technical team has developed the naval architecture in-house, while renowned designer Enrico Gobbi of Team 4 Design has crafted both the exterior and interior spaces. This latest iteration builds upon its predecessor, incorporating the owner's preferences and reflecting contemporary industry trends.Constructed from aluminum, the yacht features a powerful propulsion system with two MTU 16V engines, each generating 2600 hp, enabling her to achieve a maximum speed of 20 knots.The exterior design showcases hallmark ISA Yachts elements, such as the dramatic arches interlinking the hull and superstructure, along with semi-circular entrances to both the main deck saloon and the upper deck living area.
