CL Yachts is currently aiming its considerable focus at two exciting models in the B Series – the re-imagined CLB88 and the brand-new CLB65. CLB88 has enjoyed a transformation under the expert guidance of world-renowned, Milan-based designer Jozeph Forakis. The first interior package is characterized by a deeper color scheme, with a palette that celebrates teak and walnut.

While that stylistic choice lent the interior a real sense of gravitas and masculinity, CL Yachts realizes that some may prefer a lighter touch. To that end, Forakis envisioned a second palette, this one made up of softer grays and lighter oaks.

The creamy and serene motif plays well with the natural light welcomed onboard through CLB88’s expansive windows, for an overall effect that feels inviting, bright and modern – recalling a summer beach holiday.

The builder is also working on another project, CLB65, that is currently set to debut at the 2022 Newport International Boat Show. The flybridge motoryacht is the smallest of B series. Specifically designed for owner operation and with some new design touches. “CLB65 will stand out for a lot of reasons,” says CL Yachts’ Martin Lo. “Our clients will enjoy the expansive windows, which have an up-down function on the port side and a flip-up window at aft bulkhead by the galley. This is in line with our idea of bringing outside in and inside out.”

CLB65 will be powered by highly maneuverable and easy-to-use twin Volvo Penta IPS1050 pods with optional Docking Assist Program, and have zero speed fin stabilization system in place as well. Indeed, the model has created such fanfare that a second hull is already under construction.

Continuous weight monitoring throughout the build of Project 405 aka Reichel / Pugh – Nauta 154, confirms the Dutch builder has achieved its goal of slicing 11% of the weight of its typical advanced aluminum cruising yachts. First VisionF 100 Catamaran Sold by VisionF Yachts
Turkish yacht builder VisionF Yachts has unveiled a new flagship model: the VisionF 100. The new catamaran is constructed entirely of innovative kevlar composite for high strength-to-weight ratio, meaning a very light structure that is at the same time extremely strong, rigid and durable. The first hull was sold and will be delivered in early 2025. “I’m happy to announce that we have sold the first VisionF 100 in kevlar composite and we are going to deliver the catamaran in early 2025,” said Coskun Bayraktar, Founder and Owner of VisionF Yachts. “And we plan to start building the second unit that will be launched in March 2025.”At 30.5 meters overall, the flybridge catamaran shares the same in-house design DNA and many of the features of its smaller siblings, but on a superyacht scale. Catamaran has a max beam of 12 meters and a 1.2-meter draft that makes it perfect to explore shallow waters, for example, in the Caribbean and enter secluded bays.The aft cockpit has dining facilities for a full complement of guests with an ingenious sofa design whose backrest can be shifted to face the table or a folding terrace suspended over the stern. The foredeck has a large glass-bottomed hot-tub (2.4m x 1.6m) above the water below. The expansive sundeck offers 116 sq. m of open-air space with yet more sofa seating, sunbeds, dining table and a bar unit.Inside on the main deck is a huge 100 sq. m saloon with a dining room. Clients can also choose to have a forward-facing master stateroom of 30 sq. m with private access to the foredeck. In the two hulls, which can be configured to suit individual owners’ preference, there is space for up to six ensuite guest cabins, a fully equipped galley and, depending on the choice of guest cabin layout, as many as three crew cabins with separate access.As for the propulsion, the VisionF 100 will be fitted with four Volvo Penta IPS 1050 engines for the maximum speed of 22 knots.VisionF Yachts in Turkey was set up by Coşkun Bayraktar in Istanbul in 2019, but despite the shipyard’s relative youth it is a brand that is going places in the power catamaran world. Exploring all the options for a luxurious performance cruiser also capable of podium finishes at superyacht regattas, the team made full design studies for the yacht in both carbon and aluminum using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to optimize hull shape and balance. 74m Lady Jorgia Left the Market and Renamed Andrea
The 74m Lady Jorgia has been sold by Edmiston's in-house deal – the broker Alex Busher represented the buyer and the seller. After the sale the yacht was renamed Andrea. Andrea was launched by Italian CRN in 2017. She features a bottom-glassed pool, a spa, and spacious foredeck bow, which can be converted into a dancefloor or set-up for a dinner setting plus a large upper deck aft that connects smoothly with the main inside dining area. Her exterior was made by Zuccon International Project, while the interiors are the work of Winch Design. In 2017 she got the Best Layout award for her category at the World Yacht Trophies 2017.The 74m superyacht can accommodate 12 guests across eight cabins, including an exceptional master suite with huge windows offering panoramic views from bed and a private terrace forward.Thanks to two Caterpillar engines Andrea can reach a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruise at 15 knots. First Silent 60 Launched in Fano by Silent-Yachts
Silent-Yachts has launched the very first solar electric catamaran Silent 60 at its own shipyard in Fano, Italy, which has been acquired in spring 2022.“We are happy that our Italian shipyard performs really well. It was the right decision to purchase and develop it in a way that is in line with our corporate long-term strategy,” said Michael Köhler, Founder and CEO of Silent-Yachts. The first Silent 60 has four guest cabins on the lower deck (the series allows up to six cabins + one crew cabin), including a spacious master suite in the bow. There are numerous social areas on board, including an airy main saloon, an aft cockpit, a cozy bow area and a flybridge. Thanks to a draft of under 1m the Silent 60 can access shallow bays, a crucial consideration for cruising grounds in the Caribbean and South East Asia. Two swimming platforms in the stern can be extended on owner’s request to carry a pair of electric jet skis. The lifting hydraulic platform between the two platforms can carry a 4-meter tender.“The Silent-Yachts catamarans are built to last and they are reliable ocean going vessels,” says Michael Köhler. “They require virtually no maintenance especially compared to yachts with traditional combustion engines. In addition, warranties for batteries and solar panels are for 8 and 25 years respectively.”The recently launched Silent 60 is equipped with 2 x 250 kW engines for the maximum speed of 14 knots. The catamaran carries 42 solar panels for 16 kWp of solar energy to power two electric motors of 2 x 250 kW. Backed up by a battery capacity of up to 210 kWh, she will be able to cruise efficiently with zero emissions solely on solar power for up to 100 nautical miles a day for weeks.Silent-Yachts is producing the world’s first fully solar-sustainable oceangoing production catamaran yachts.
