CCN proudly announces a new job order for a 40m expedition yacht. Floating Life Charter & Brokerage has selected the Avenza-based boatbuilder to construct the first K40 in the Fuoriserie yacht line, which will be delivered to an American owner. The boat has been designed for long-range cruises across the Mediterranean Sea, but also the oceans, all the way up to the coldest seas. K40 will be constructed with a reinforced 'Light Ice' class steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and will have a three deck layout.

Exterior design and naval architecture by Floating Life and Studio Sculli, the yacht's interiors by Rafael de Cardenas / Architecture at Large will be sober and extremely bright, with light shades and a perfect blend of wood, lacquered surfaces, and fabrics. The vessel will also feature a service pantry on all decks, a beach area with movie theatre, a changing room and storage space for diving equipment, outdoor areas with dining tables and sunbathing sofas, a BBQ and a fully-equipped bar area on the sun-deck.
"I am delighted with Floating Life Charter & Brokerage's decision to choose us among many international boat builders - commented CCN's CEO Diego Michele Deprati - This new challenge will allows us to prove once more our expertise in the construction of megayachts as well as our shipyard's flexibility and unmatched quality: this is indeed a fully-custom project implying painstaking studies and a high level of know-how".
