Cantiere delle Marche announced sale of the third Flexplorer model.
The Flexplorer 146 has been commissioned by a Swiss owner with an "unbound passion for big game fishing" and builds on the success of the shipyard's Flexplorer line.

Exterior lines were designed by Sergio Cutolo/Hydro Tec with interiors imagined by Nauta Design. This yacht will accommodates up to ten guests split between five cabins, including an owner's stateroom positioned on the main deck forward with an office, dressing room and large bathroom. The main saloon features an asymmetric layout with a passageway down the port side.

The Flexplorer 146 will not carry an A-Frame on the aft deck. Instead, the area will be reserved for an "immense" social space equipped with sunbeds. The shipyard also promises the new model to feature "fresh ideas" and "pioneering applications of innovative features".
Power will come from twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines delivering over 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. The yacht will feature a low-resistance underbody with bulbous bow that adds comfort in rough seas and efficiency during long passages.

Co-founder Vasco Buonpensiere says the Flexplorer line has had "extraordinary success" since the launch of the first hull in 2020. "Meeting the client who decided to purchase this Flexplorer 146 was an honour and a joy because we know that we share the same vision about yachting. Building his yacht will be a great experience for all of us at CdM. He is a real yachtsman and he is a trendsetter in the highly profiled and exclusive community he belongs to.”
