Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche showcases first in-build Flexplorer superyacht.

The 39.4-metre Flexplorer yacht, which is due to be delivered to its owner later this year, is currently under construction at the Italian yard.

Flexplorer has a design by Sergio Cutolo/Hydro Tec. Her eye-catching superstructure, almost vertical bow, huge deck are not styling exercises as they serve to provide the yacht with all feature that makes her a perfect ocean-going vessel designed to face all sort of weather conditions in total safety and comfort.

The key features of Flexplorer are the fold-down bulwarks that enlarge the deck space astern creating a huge terrace of around 115 square metres and an A-frame crane perfectly encompassed in the deck's flooring.

This feature itself is a remarkable piece of engineering purposely developed by CdM's to provide the yacht with a powerful crane to launch an 8.5 mt tender without interfering with full use of deck space. The A-frame crane also allows much safer loading and offloading operations as well as it eliminates any inclining issue.

The Flexplorer configuration offers plenty of privacy to Owners and guests both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor spaces are quite remarkable: in addition to the super-large cockpit, there are also a stern terrace on the Upper Deck and a panoramic Sun Deck with spa-pool and sun lounges.

Power will come from a pair of Caterpillar C32 1600-1800 engines for a top speed of 14 knots. The cruise speed of 8.5 knots will result in a range of 5000 nautical miles.
