Bering Yachts has reached a significant milestone with the delivery of its 22.2-meter explorer series. After a series of successful sea trials in Antalya, Turkey, the Bering 72 now sets the standard for expedition yachts in its class.
Named the Bering 72, this model draws inspiration from classic expedition yachts, blending rugged design with modern functionality. Developed based on feedback from owners and captains of the Bering 65, this vessel epitomizes the essence of exploration and adventure.
Sharing the same technical platform as its predecessor, the Bering 72 boasts the familiar rugged, expedition-style lines that have come to define Bering Yachts' offerings. Spread across three decks, its living areas include a spacious saloon and a full-beam galley on the main deck. Accommodation comprises three cabins and a luxurious full-beam master suite forward, although future units can be customized to include additional cabins to accommodate five or six guests.
The yacht also features a flybridge wet bar, a generously sized swimming platform on the lower deck, and ample storage for two tenders, ensuring both comfort and convenience for extended voyages.
Equipped with a 24,000-liter fuel capacity, the B72 boasts an impressive non-stop range of over 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of eight knots. With a maximum speed of 10 knots, the yacht offers a smooth and serene sailing experience, with minimal noise and vibration even at full throttle.
Following the delivery of the first B72, Bering Yachts has already begun work on the second vessel in the series, which was recently initiated after being sold to an American client.
Bering Yachts designs and builds semi-custom, steel-hulled expedition yachts and luxury trawler yachts ranging in size from 20m to 45m. Bering Yachts employ over 200 skilled craftsmen in our modern shipbuilding facility in Antalya, Turkey.
