Built at Viareggio-based yard for a European owner, the 29-meter Christella II is the first hull in the new Class displacement line, including yachts from the compact Delfino 95 to Chrystal 140 flagship. The luxury boat boasts two helm stations and a layout reminiscent of larger-sized superyachts.
Giorgio Cassetta is in charge of Christella II exterior lines, while her interior styling is a fruit of collaboration between Benetti in-house team and British design firm Aqualuce. The modern furnished interiors feature Eramosa marble, Canaletto walnut and printed leather panels. Despite an overall length of 28.95 meters and a tonnage just below 200 tons, allowing her expert owner to pilot the yacht without the help of a captain, Christella II has remarkably spacious cabins and is able to accommodate five crew members.
The owner’s cabin is particularly roomy, with a width of almost 7 meters and a length of 3.20 meters. A separate wardrobe area was designed there, following the owner’s special request. The lower deck is dedicated to guests, with two VIP suites connected by a sliding door, and two twin-bed cabins. Each cabin has its own bathroom.
As for the social spaces, the main lounge stands out for the two large glazed surfaces in either side, running the entire length of the setting. The upper deck has an expansive relaxation zone, a classic sun lounging area, the dining area with an opening roof and a mood lighting, while the stern contains a vast open living area.
Delfino 95 is offered with two helm stations. One of them, situated outdoors, on the sun deck, comes with a sofa, so that guests have a chance to enjoy the view during navigation. Meanwhile, the main command center is situated on the upper deck and therefore is particularly useful when maneuvering due to its high position above water level. Besides, this location frees up an entire deck for service areas, which is both practical and ensuring more privacy for the boat's guests.
The yacht’s garage can accommodate a tender of up to 4.40 meters in length. She is fitted with two 1000 hp Man V8 engines, driving her to a top speed of 13.5 knots.
The launch of Delfino 95 follows the success of Benetti Delfino 93 series, with 14 units sold to date. Christella II is due to be delivered to her owner in 2018.
