The Italian yard Ice Yachts has released a truly sensual “behind the scenes” video, unveiling the process of creation of the 68-meter M/Y Day’s - of the ICE explorers line - at the AES Yacht facility in Turkey.
The joint venture works together with the renowned Milan-based design
studio, Hot Lab that is in charge of the sleek exterior style and a stylishly
minimalistic internal design. The project is coordinated by the yacht’s customer’s representative Jacques Potgieter, whose sea-going and operational experience in yachting should ensure the boat’s functionality and efficiency.

The five-deck explorer M/Y Day's accommodates 12 guests. The owner’s area occupies the entire upper deck. The apartment like feel is achieved by the use of large continuous full-height windows all around the owner’s cabin that has two large walk-in wardrobes, two en-suite bathrooms, a gym and a massage room.

The guest area is on the main deck with three big VIP cabins, one guest cabin with single beds and an additional cabin. All guest cabins are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and a walk-in closet.

Particular attention was paid to the owner's privacy. Therefore, a direct access to the sky-lounge conference room from the exterior of the yacht was provided, as the owner will use the vessel both for pleasure and business.

The crew quarters on the lower deck sleep up to 18 members, apart from the captain’s cabin on the bridge deck.

The boat’s vital statistics include a total length of 68 meters, a beam of 13 meters and the internal volume, measuring 1.800 GRT.
The building of the superyacht is proceeding on schedule. The delivery is due for the end of 2018.
