Drettmann Yachts has announced the introduction of the Bandido B-50, an almost 50-meter long explorer yacht under its Bandido Yachts brand. Known for its custom-built explorer yachts, Drettmann Yachts, based in Bremen, has catered to individual customer requirements, offering limitless possibilities in design, size, and equipment.
The B-50, the latest project from Drettmann, incorporates numerous customer preferences and the extensive experience of the Drettmann team. With a volume of 499 Gross Tons, the yacht measures 49.90 meters in length and 9.30 meters in width, accommodating twelve guests across six cabins. The owner's private deck features a hot tub and lounge, providing an uninterrupted sea view as the crew manages anchor maneuvers from the deck below.
The B-50 includes notable amenities for guests, such as a sheltered outdoor cinema on the upper deck, a gym with a fold-out balcony on the lower deck, and a six-meter-long pool on the main deck. The pool's bulwark can be folded out to expand the lounge area, and the pool floor can be raised to flush with the deck, allowing the area to serve as a helicopter Touch&Go landing pad for transfers.
Powered by pod drives, the B-50 promises excellent maneuverability. It has a maximum speed of 14 knots and can travel approximately 4,500 nautical miles non-stop at a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Drettmann Yachts has a significant track record in custom yacht construction, having built 1,000 flybridge yachts up to over 40 meters in length and delivered 25 explorer yachts between 30 and over 52 meters in length. Claus-Ehlert Meyer, Managing Director of Deutsche Yachten within the German Boat and Shipbuilders' Association, remarked, “This is a very interesting yacht project that will certainly appeal to many customers.”
