Baltic Yachts, the renowned Finnish sailing yacht manufacturer, is poised to make its debut in the multihull segment with the announcement of its inaugural project. Details surrounding this exciting venture will be unveiled at the imminent Monaco Yacht Show, running from September 25 to 28.
The construction of this groundbreaking yacht is set to commence this month, with design and engineering phases already progressing smoothly. Prior to the show, the shipyard plans to share additional insights about the project.
Baltic Yachts' new Chief Executive Officer, Tom von Bonsdorff, alongside Executive Vice President Henry Hawkins and Sales Director Kenneth Nyfelt, will be available for discussions and meetings throughout the event.
In addition, the firm will exhibit the Baltic 85 Mini Y, a stunning 26-meter cruising sloop created by designer Bill Dixon. This yacht, currently listed through Edmiston, offers impressive sailing performance, effortless handling, and a comfortable layout for four guests, featuring a spacious owner's suite.
Recent launches from Baltic Yachts include the Baltic 80 Emma, a remarkable maxi cruiser-racer, and the third iteration of the Baltic 68 Café Racer. The shipyard also completed a major refit of the Baltic 175 Ravenger, transforming it into the world’s largest high-performance full-carbon composite sloop.
This year, Baltic Yachts consolidated its operations into a cutting-edge waterfront facility in Jakobstad, Finland, a strategic move aimed at enhancing efficiency and minimizing its production footprint. EVP Hawkins expressed excitement about the company's growth and opportunities, particularly in anticipation of the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show.
Baltic Yachts was founded in 1973 with a clear objective to build better yachts that are lighter, stiffer, and faster. With more than 550 yachts launched, that objective has been continuously met.
