Italian yard Baglietto launched its largest yacht in history, the 55-metre motor yacht named Severin°s last Saturday, July 6.
Also known as hull No.10225, the vessel is part of Baglietto’s traditional platform (the T-Line) designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design. Her vessel’s soft and sleek lines reflect Baglietto’s traditional Italian style, along with the lowered gunwales and side air vents. Francesco Paszkowski designed warm and cozy interiors in collaboration with architect Margherita Casprini.
The layout is set for charter with a total of six cabins. The main deck Severin°s has been dedicated to the Family, with a spacious master suite with a secluded office and two guest cabins for the family members. What is more, there are a central lobby with a panoramic lift in marble which connects the three decks, the main saloon and the dining area with a central round table on the same deck.
On the lower deck, there are two additional guest cabins, with a crew mess room and six crew cabins next to the professional galley. The captain’s cabin is on the upper deck next to the modern wheelhouse, which has an integrated system provided by Telemar.
One more guest cabin is to be found on the upper deck, also fitted with a multifunctional space furnished with a sofa and two Pullman beds. The interior layout is complete with a living room, conversation area, and a gaming table. Outside, always on the upper deck, you can find a dining table for ten with a bar and relax area located aft.
In its turn, the sun deck boasts 150 square meters of al fresco space. The stern offers a generous sunbathing area with freestanding sunbeds, while a relax area is located under the shadows of the roll bar. The two pop-up tables also can transform this space into a dining spot. There are also a swimming pool and bar on this deck.
Severin°s also has a spacious 55-square-metre Beach Club with double access, thanks to the placement of the tender and toys in the foredeck. The Beach Club boasts a steam shower, bar, and an additional area perfect for a gym and spa.
Certified with the maximum class by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, the yacht comes equipped with two Caterpillar engines 3516C DITA, pushing her at a maximum speed of 17 knots and cruising speed of 12 knots.
At the launch ceremony, there were also visible some historic Baglietto superyachts, such as the 1948 S/Y Caroly, the 2006 M/Y Nina J or the 2018 M/Y Silver Fox. Michele Gavino, Baglietto CEO stated:
Not only did we welcome such a beautiful yacht, the biggest ever built by Baglietto in its recent history, but we also saw the history of the shipyard before our very eyes.
