Azimut celebrates a prestigious victory at the 2024 European Powerboat Awards held during boot Düsseldorf. The Magellano 60 clinched the top spot in the "up to 20 meters" category, impressing the jury with its exceptional features. Presented initially at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, this award-winning yacht garnered further acclaim for its innovative design and outstanding performance.
At the Flagship Night, an event co-hosted by Boot Düsseldorf and Delius Klasing on January 20th, the Magellano 60 stood out among the best boats tested by the international panel of experts. The jury highlighted the yacht's striking visual appearance, newly developed hull, and superior craftsmanship, emphasizing its excellence in the motor yacht class.
With a cutting-edge Dual Mode semi-planing hull, the Magellano 60 ensures optimal handling at varying speeds, combining comfort at low speeds with the ability to reach higher speeds efficiently. This 60-foot crossover yacht boasts elegant external lines designed by Ken Freivokh, providing spacious interiors and a unique Infinity Terrace at the stern for a seamless connection with the sea.
Notably, the Magellano 60 sets a new standard for environmental responsibility by being the first Azimut boat to run on HVO, a biofuel produced by Eni Live (Eni Sustainable Mobility) using 100% renewable raw materials. The integration of this biofuel, along with the Dual Mode hull, significantly reduces well-to-wake CO2 emissions by over 80%, showcasing Azimut's commitment to sustainable yachting.
As the Magellano 60 emerges as a symbol of reduced emissions and innovative design, it continues to redefine the luxury yachting experience, harmonizing comfort with environmental responsibility.
