Turkish entrepreneur Baris Nalcaci has acquired Italian boatbuilder Austin Parker Yachts, a shipyard established by Giovanni Sebastiano Gravagno with over 25 years of history. The acquisition ushers in a new phase for the brand, with Nalcaci also serving as the president of Epsilon Composite, a Turkish manufacturing company specializing in composite materials for the aerospace and marine sectors.
Austin Parker Yachts, headquartered in Liguria with a production facility in Pisa, has a lineup of seven yacht models ranging from 11m to 22m, including the Ibiza, Mahon, and Palma. In the late 1990s, the yard gained recognition for its early adoption of constructing traditional 'lobster' boats.

Giovanni Sebastiano Gravagno, the founder of Austin Parker Yachts, expresses optimism about this development, stating that Nalcaci's expertise in brand development, composite materials, and product design will be pivotal in the endeavor. Gravagno also confirms the establishment of a new shipyard spanning 27,000 sq m in Pisa.

This strategic move aligns with Nalcaci's vision of infusing fresh excitement into the market, as he anticipates presenting these innovations at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.
Austin Parker offers a range of vessels with more contemporary architectural solutions, with slanting sterns, low over the water, that give an even sleeker profile to the familiar Austin Parker hull with its high, solid bows. A modern, individual look was made under the direction of Italian firm Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design. The range comprises three walk-around models, Ibiza 38′, Ibiza 44′ and Ibiza 52′; two motor yacht models Mahòn 46′ and Mahòn 52′; and the larger flying bridge line and two Palma 62′ and Palma 66′models. The Austin Parker offering is completed by two designs of larger yachts: Ibiza 85 WA in fiberglass and AL 86 flying bridge in aluminium, both with innovative, functional design, and intended for the discerning owner looking for a vessel that will respond to their passions for yachting.
