Amels has revealed the custom interiors on board the 60-meter Entourage. The yacht was delivered in early 2023 and became the second superyacht in the Amels 60 range. She features an exterior design by Monaco-based Espen Oeino International and naval architecture by Damen Yachting.
Entourage’s interior was created by the Canadian design studio Burdifilek, who was appointed by an experienced owner. As the studio’s first superyacht project, the team at Burdifilek developed the owner’s clear brief and global vision into a tranquil and elegant home at sea.
“The owner knew exactly how he wanted to entertain and how he wanted the flow through the spaces to be. When the sun sets, the yacht transforms, shifting from day to night, evoking a completely different feeling,” says Diego Burdi, Burdifilek’s co-founder.
“This unique opportunity led us on a journey of exploration where every design aspect of the yacht was considered at the highest level. Conceived as a floating oasis of luxury, the interiors are a playground of timeless elegance, ultimate comfort with a sense of peace conveyed through a monochromatic palette,” adds Diego Burdi, whose portfolio includes the W Hotel, New York’s Club Monaco and some of the world’s most dynamic commercial Environments.
The Amels 60 yacht offers exceptional accommodation arrangements for both guests and crew. The owner enjoys a spacious suite on the main deck, complete with a fold-down balcony, lounge area, two bathrooms, and a neighboring twin-bed guest suite. Additionally, there are four suites on the Lower Deck, providing accommodation for a total of 12 guests. The crew area has been modified to provide enhanced facilities, including a larger laundry room and dry store, to accommodate the 13 crew members.
A notable design feature of the Amels 60 is the striking and spacious staircase, which has been creatively positioned on the outside, offering a visually appealing and open passage. This innovative design element, along with the beautiful ceiling designs free of domes, contributes to a sense of space and freedom on board. The sun deck has been extended by 1.5 meters, featuring a hot tub, sunpads, a large bar, BBQ, alfresco dining area, and a shaded L-shaped lounge. The positioning of the sun awning poles on the outside of the railing maximizes available space. Various dining and lounging options are available throughout the yacht, including the swim platform, main deck aft, bridge deck saloon, and a casual dining area in the main saloon.
The owner worked closely with Amels and build supervisors Moran Yacht & Ship to customize the project and utilize the builder’s well-balanced Limited Editions technical platform and fast build time. Another notable change was made to the exterior styling, where the owner opted for a seamless stream of windows instead of the signature angular windows.
On the foredeck, there is space for two tenders and two waverunners, with additional toys such as SeaBobs, wakeboards and diving equipment stored in the beach club aft. Also located within the beach club is a sauna, dayhead and gym equipment.
Entourage features IMO Tier III compliant hybrid power and propulsion technology, cutting-edge equipment and technology, superior seakeeping abilities and a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles.
Damen Yachting, a division within the Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019. The division combines the pedigree and heritage of Amels yachts with a growing portfolio of SeaXplorer yachts and Yacht Support vessels.
