Aluqa shipyard is a Dutch shipyard, designing and building lightweight, premium aluminium boats for a highly exclusive segment. Their design comes from Dutch Design and they implement the latest high-tech.
While working in the nautical industry for a solid decade, the team of Aluqa noticed that anchors and the way they work are old fashioned. With their background in metal & aluminium works, they creatively designed a new way with system that includes a folding process to store the anchor in a totally different way. The anchor system of Aluqa is foldable and hidden while it is not needed. The hatch that closes off the anchor compartment makes the anchor and its foldable system invisible. It is one of the hidden gems that sets the Aluqa apart.

During the Formula 1 in Monaco, the new Toys & Tenders 2018 issue was published, where Aluqa have chosen to highlight their Abalone 48 which is an open or walkaround version of the Aluqa exclusive boats. It has been specifically developed to be of service around the Balearic Islands. In that area the openness of the boat is key as sunbathing is preferred. As they have their own shipyard, they can build the Aluqa open in 40 and 48 feet.

As Aluqa are gearing up in the Mediteranian area, they notice that they get a lot of requests for information and also sea trials. There is a possibility to test the speed, manouverability, agility, quality, luxury and feeling of the Aluqa Abalone ships.
