Alia Yachts has announced that its latest 45-meter superyacht, Project SAN, will make her international debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. This follows the successful completion of sea trials in June 2024.
Project SAN, constructed entirely from aluminum, showcases design work by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, with naval architecture handled by Lateral Naval Architects. The yacht features a distinctive exterior, characterized by a low, predatory superstructure, a raised pilothouse, and clean, sharp lines. Initial images reveal a plumb bow and spacious, uncluttered deck areas.
The layout of Project SAN emphasizes outdoor living, with a fully open main deck that stretches from stern to bow without major visual obstacles. Paul Costerus, partner and lead designer at Sinot, noted that the exterior deck furniture is multi-functional, with tables and sunbathing areas easily converting to suit various purposes. The aft deck's sunbathing area can also be expanded by folding down the bulwarks, further enhancing the yacht's al fresco experience.
Although interior imagery has not yet been released, the yacht's interiors are described as minimalist and detail-oriented, with full-height windows offering unobstructed views. Accommodation is provided on the lower deck, featuring a four-cabin layout that includes a spacious owner’s cabin.
Powered by quadruple Volvo IPS drives, Project SAN represents a significant step for Alia Yachts. Shipyard president Gökhan Çelik stated that the yacht's innovative design philosophy would strengthen Alia Yachts' position as a leading custom yacht builder globally.
This announcement follows Alia Yachts' collaboration with Burgess on another custom 45-meter superyacht project, which will involve H2 Yacht Design, Vickers Studio, and Van Oossanen. Delivery for that project is scheduled for 2026.
