England design bureau Vickers Studio has shared details of their latest creation, Project Abacos, a visionary 30-meter concept. This project is available for construction at the esteemed Van der Valk shipyard in the Netherlands, with a projected delivery time of 24 months from commissioning and is currently available through Denison Yachting, with an asking price of €14,650,000.
Accommodating up to eight guests and a crew of four, the yacht encompasses a lavish owner's suite boasting a spacious walk-in closet, an en suite bathroom, a vanity, and a desk. Additionally, a second VIP cabin spans the full beam, accompanied by two twin cabins, all exquisitely appointed with en suite facilities. Alternatively, an alternative layout offering five cabins is available, accommodating up to 10 guests.
Project Abacos is made from aluminum, featuring a vertical bow, sleek angular architectural lines, and intricate wooden accents, particularly evident in the columns and railings. Drawing inspiration from the ancient city of Çatalhöyük, the interiors seamlessly blend earthy tones with geometric patterns intricately woven into fabrics and artworks.
The main saloon is bathed in natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, creating an airy ambiance. It boasts plush sofa and armchair seating, a discreetly integrated LCD TV, and a dining area catering to eight guests.
The upper deck has sliding glass panels, allowing the dining and bar area to be enclosed and climate-controlled with AC or opened to embrace warmer climates and includes a forward-facing hot tub. Sunbathing spaces are thoughtfully designed aft of the upper deck and on the main deck.
With a shallow 1.8-meter draught, Project Abacos is envisioned with a maximum speed of 20 knots and a range of 1,200 nautical miles when cruising at a more leisurely 12 knots. The upper deck is also a storage on the bow to house a tender of up to four meters.
