Much expected news comes from world famous Dutch shipyard Heesen announcing that they have delivered the 51m meter fast displacement yacht MySky to her owners. Achieving a range of 5,400 nautical miles at 10 knots and with a gross tonnage of 600 GT and capable of reaching a maximum speed of 15.6 knots. Delivered to an exterior design by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects with flush-mounted tinted windows thermo-bonded to the superstructure creating a continuous wall of glass that gives this vessel a highly distinctive look. The interior design was done by owner-appointed Erick van Egeraat who has produced a modern, tasteful and sophisticated look for the yacht. On the main deck, one can find a clever use of natural light, reflection and glass that creates a large main salon set to the tune of round shapes and a modern white color scheme mixing perfectly with dark wood finishes. Further ahead, an elegant, smart, private dining area that flows with the general theme of rounded shapes one can find throughout the yacht.
Passing through the dining area, one makes his way to the luxurious foyer past a custom made wall that seems to blend into modern art finishes. The square lighting one can then find above his head, along with the structure of the foyer, contrasts with the rest of the yacht with its square like shape, providing easy access across all decks.
