Renowned Florida-based designer Kurt Strand has unveiled a groundbreaking 77-meter hybrid superyacht named Silence, a vessel that navigates the seas silently for up to eight hours in electric mode. Crafted with a sturdy steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, Silence boasts an eye-catching silhouette inspired by Scandinavian minimalism and sustainable design.
Made by Acoya Design House, the interior of Silence epitomizes Scandi-chic, featuring a subtle color palette and minimalist Nordic furnishings. Reflecting a connection with nature, the decor incorporates natural materials, organic shapes, and lush greenery—a trend anticipated to gain popularity among seafarers seeking respite from today's hectic lifestyles.
Spanning four decks, Silence's living quarters showcase floor-to-ceiling glazing and expansive open floorplans.
Accommodating up to 14 guests in seven spacious suites and 20 crew members, the yacht offers an extravagant owner's suite on the upper deck, complete with a generous bedroom, an aft terrace featuring a hot tub and sun loungers – a serene retreat for the owners.
The main deck revolves around a light, airy lounge leading to a beach club with a pool and lounge. The sundeck seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, featuring a Jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema, and a dining area for 14, complemented by a sophisticated bar and gaming area indoors.
Additional highlights include a wellness area, a foredeck helipad that transforms into a party area or sun-soaked lounge, and ample storage for two 10-meter tenders, six Jet Skis, and various water toys. Silence represents a marriage of luxury and sustainability, setting a new standard for eco-friendly superyachts.
