Camper & Nicholsons became the Worldwide Central Agents for the sale of 65m Callisto with Alex Lees-Buckley having been intimately involved in her conception, following closely her construction as owner's representative.
She was launched at the original DeVries yard in Aalsmeer Holland in 2006 and was a finalist in the 2007 Boat International Awards. Callisto features classic DeVoogt exterior lines and naval architecture. Her fully custom interior was penned by Terence Disdale Design.
Offered for sale for the first time, Callisto is a world cruiser built to the highest of standards with an exceptional and most practical design.
She had a multi-million euro refit that was carried out in the new shed at Feadship’s Amsterdam facility where works were completed to their exacting standards in the summer of 2021 along with her fifteen year Lloyds survey.
Callisto can accommodate 12 guests in six ensuite cabins with the owner’s full-width suite on the main deck forward, including a large office and day room, his and hers bathrooms and a walk-in dressing room. The five guest suites are located below aft and are also extremely comfortable thanks to her 11.58m beam and a gross tonnage of 1,306 and length overall of 65.2m. The very spacious main saloon and dining room and a large upper deck salon both served by sizable and discrete pantries.
There are two large Hinkley tenders (29 and 26 feet) stored in garages forward, an 18-foot Castoldi and a Zodiac 420 Rescue Boat on the foredeck along with various other toys in the garage aft. There is a large folding swimming platform, ample deck space on the three well-appointed exterior decks, a guest lift through three floors, a gymnasium, and accommodation for 16 to 17 crew.
The yacht has a top speed of 16 knots. Callisto will be on display at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show.
