The 59-meter Vitters sailing yacht, Maximus, also known as Project 3090, has made its debut in anticipation of its upcoming launch. Recent image was just unveiled by the shipyard. Vitters has disclosed that this project is conceptualized as a performance cruiser, boasting an interior volume of 299 gross tons, with design and naval architecture credited to Germán Frers. Described by the shipyard as a "wolf in sheep's clothing," Maximus is equipped with twin rudders and a lifting keel featuring a minimum draught of five meters and a maximum draught of eight meters.

Commencing its construction in the summer of 2021, this ketch-rigged sailing beauty first glimpsed daylight in May 2022 when its hull briefly exited the construction shed in Zwartsluis, the Netherlands, for rotation.
This marks a significant milestone for Maximus as it steps into the daylight, marking progress toward its final commissioning and upcoming sea trial phase. Maximus will make her debut on the race course in 2024.
