Italian boutique shipyard, Tankoa Yachts has introduced the S533 Saetta, a new 53-meter model in its product range. Featuring a planning hull, the yacht will be able to reach a top speed of 28 knots.

The 53-meter model comes as an extension of Tankoa's existing lineup, which already includes the Tankoa 58 Open that was introduced last year. These mainly stand out through their use of glass surfaces and aggressive lines drawn by Francesco Paszkowski.
From a performance standpoint, the S553 would be powered by twin MTU 16V engines giving her a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising range of 600 nautical miles at 24 knots. Getting the speed down to 17 knots would double the range to 1,200nm.

Tankoa S533 represents a leap forward, a glimpse of the future. The evolution of the path we have followed up to now with the new project for Tankoa, a yard that we are proud to work with, combines speed with solidity, cleanliness of lines and forms with dynamic lightness.
Francesco Paszkowski, Designrer

Stretching over a length of 53 meters, the S533 would draw across a beam of 9.2 meters and have a shallow draft of 1.7m. Featuring an open layout, the yacht would have extensive sun pads forward on the bow as well as aft of its main and upper decks. A sheltered, outdoor dinning table would also be positioned on the upper deck.

Located in Genoa, Italy, Tankoa has previously delivered two superyachts, the 50-meter Vertige in 2017 and its flagship, 69-meter Suerte in 2015. Tankoa's newest, 71-meter flagship is currently under construction and is set to be delivered in 2018.
