The fifth motor yacht concept the partnership of the Baglietto and Santa Maria Magnolfi studio, the V-Line 50 was unveiled earlier this week at the Dubai International Boat Show 2018.
This new vessel stems from the wish to reinterpret the concept of semi-displacement yacht, combining it with sporty lines while still ensuring the same onboard liveability and comfort, both indoor and outdoor. This yacht can boast clear, sleek and harmonious lines, resulting in pure and essential sobriety as well as a strong personality.
The extremely aerodynamic, slender superstructure reinterprets in a modern key the sporty character it has inherited from historic Baglietto yachts, such as the famed 26 m Chato, an iconic project from the mid-1980s. Thanks to the huge volume available, the interiors feature large glazed surfaces on the upper deck too, while preserving the walk-around solution, thereby ensuring a pleasant, smooth continuity between the spacious convivial areas located both aft and forward and allowing guests to fully enjoy almost the entire deck.
The interior layout offers the truly rare chance, on a yacht of this size, to choose between having a large gym or a VIP cabin on the main deck, abaft the large master stateroom, with no impact on the 4 wide guest cabins on the lower deck and the spacious beach area that can be reached via an indoor staircase from the cockpit. The owner’s area is almost 60 sq. metres wide and features a separate office providing direct access to the exterior areas, a walk-through dressing room with large windows, and a full-beam bathroom located forward, beyond the night area, which gets plenty of natural light through the side windows and the skylight. The aft garage can fit a tender over 6 m in length and a jet-ski, while an approximately 3.5 m rubber boat can be stored forward in a hidden, but open area.
