The 45m superyacht Awatea is listed for sale through Fraser. She was launched by Hakvoort in 2008 under the name My Trustis. With a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Awatea was designed by Cor de Rover with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design while Felix Buytendijk was responsible for the interior design.
She had a major refit in 2018 in which she redecorated the interior, lightening the palette without altering the layout. The current interior is modern classic featuring mahogany panels, superbly bevelled raised panel joinery and classic white painted surfaces and beamed deck heads. The prevailing color scheme includes tones of blue, aqua and white.
She can accommodate up to ten guests in five staterooms, including a full beam master. Awatea has a tender garage for a 7.6m tender. The sun deck features a whirlpool tub for up to six people with a teak circular top, as well as lots of open deck space for lounging. An advanced system of awnings fixed to the mast covers the entire sun deck thanks to a smart combination of six stainless steel vertical pipe supports.
Built to Lloyds and MCA, Awatea was the first yacht to be built for chartering under the Dutch government rules for Commercial Cruising Vessels (CCV) and has the perfect length and layout for worldwide family cruising.
Awatea is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system and cruises comfortably at 11.3 knots with max speed of 13 knots. Powered by twin 3508 Caterpillar engines she has a range of 4,600 nautical miles at her cruising speed.
Her asking price is EUR 19,500,000.
