The 42.5m yacht Callisto (previously known as Project 709) was launched by Feadship at Dutch yard’s facility in Aalsmeer. The yacht was launched sixteen years after the delivery of the first Callisto. This 65.20-meter Feadship is still used by the owners as a world cruiser and has been kept in premium condition ever since, including two refits at Feadship in 2014 and 2021. She was the first superyacht fitted with an ultra-advanced rudder-roll system and the owners set out to be equally innovative with their second Feadship called Callisto.

The new yacht has been built in aluminum and features a design by de Voogt, with the interior penned by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. Callisto became a great example of a bespoke luxury cruiser below 500GT perfect for Mediterranean cruise.

The new Callisto offers plenty of outdoor spaces including a large sundeck with plenty of shade and a comfortable seating area on the bridge deck. She can accommodate 10 guests across Mediterranean-inspired interiors. This includes a full-beam master suite on the main deck, two VIP’s and two twin guest cabins.

Built to a precise size to match her berth in the Mediterranean, Callisto seamlessly balances the owners’ desire for a 21-knot-fast superyacht. She can cruise at 12.5 knots and has a 3,000 nautical mile range at 11 knots.

Feadship was formed as a group in 1949 as a marketing partnership between six Dutch shipyards, de Vries Lentch, Van de Stadt, Witsen & Vis, Akerboom, De Vries Scheepsbouw and Van Lent Shipyard, and De Voogt Naval Architects. Feadship is well-known as one of the Netherlands’ most elite yacht builders and delivers superyachts from 50–100+ meters in length.
