The 40.2-metre Benetti motor yacht Mingfa sold in an off-market deal with Alexandre Heng of O2xH2O representing the buyer and Tina Woo at MoonOcean Yachts, Azimut’s official dealer in China, standing in for the seller.
The iconic Benetti yacht was delivered in 2014 from Italy as part of the Benetti Classic Supreme 132 series. Mingfa will be the first yacht her new Asian owner will have acquired, and he hadn’t physically seen or touched the vessel beforehand.
The interior of the yacht Mingfa was designed by Zuretti Interior Design, with the exterior by Stefano Righini Design and naval architecture by Benetti SpA. Her elegant design, generous exterior and internal volumes, great comfort levels, and the two Jacuzzis on the main and upper decks were the primary selling points for this first-time yacht buyer.
The sun deck of the Mingfa is notable for its 100 square meters of elegant décor and distinctive elements like the "aerial" stairway made of steel and teak. Due to the large windows on both sides of the boat, the spacious salon on the main deck is filled with light.
The captain's cabin is on the upper deck, and there are six spacious double suites with huge windows facing the water.
Twin MTU engines provide Mingfa its performance, allowing for a top speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots. In order to meet her new owner, Mingfa is currently berthed in Hong Kong and will shortly be sailing to South East Asia.
