Moonen Yachts has announced the delivery of Lumière, a 37.8m Martinique yacht. The vessel recently departed from the Netherlands on its maiden voyage to the Mediterranean, where its Australian owners will embark on their first season aboard.
The owners were closely involved in the customization and construction of Lumière over the past two years. Moonen Yachts' Technical Director, Nicky van Zon, expressed pride in the project, highlighting the yacht's attention to detail, craftsmanship, and design excellence.
"Lumière is a testament to our commitment to quality and customization," van Zon said. "We believe she will provide a serene and luxurious experience for her owners and their guests."
The yacht features an extended sun deck with a large hot tub pool, an expanded swim platform, and a bespoke interior designed in collaboration with Studio Indigo. These modifications were tailored to the owners' preferences and intended use of the yacht.
Lumière is the fifth Martinique model delivered by Moonen Yachts, known for its fast-displacement long-range capability and balanced indoor-outdoor living spaces. The yacht underwent final commissioning in Hellevoetsluis, alongside Moonshine, the sixth Martinique set for delivery.
The Martinique series has earned praise for its customization options and design, offering owners the ability to tailor their yachts to their specific tastes and needs.
Moonen Yachts is a yacht builder based in the Netherlands, and its first yacht was built in 1964 under the original yard name of De Ruiter. In 1981, the yard was renamed Moonen Shipyards. It’s launching its first vessel under new ownership: Alhena. In 2017 Moonen Shipyards changed into Moonen Yachts. With the help of strong vision, innovative technology and new designers, Moonen is once again becoming the market leader in 30m to 50m luxury yachts.
