Mulder’s latest 36-meter superyacht Calypso hosted over 130 guests at the Owner’s party at Restaurant Woods in Leiden, Netherlands.
Fully decorated for the first time, Calypso has admired by her visitors and the charming crew certainly made everyone feel welcome.
Mulder ThirtySix series from Dutch shipyard Mulder features naval architecture from Van Oossanen while the exterior and interior styling is the work of Claydon Reeves and John Vickers respectively. Coming in at under the 300-GT mark, Calypso follows her sistership Delta One, delivered in 2017. The bespoke modern exterior with sleek aluminum construction and a continuous window line that culminates in a contemporary plumb bow. A full beam design allows the volume and privacy in the owners’ area.
Five spacious cabins on board accommodate up to 10 guests on the latest Mulder ThirtySix. The full beam master suite is particularly notable, featuring dedicated access to a private seating area in the bow. An impressive saloon, dining room and bar area are located on the main deck, with floor to ceiling windows providing panoramic views all around whilst also flooding the interior with lots of natural light. The dining option will be enhanced by the addition of a folding side balcony. The lounge with the bar has a sizeable sofa/daybed to port with additional armchairs and drinks tables.
The large outdoor aft deck area with two C-shaped sofas provides plenty of shaded al fresco seating and dining possibilities. The sun deck above the aft deck and main saloon include generous seating, lots of sun pads, a whirlpool bathtub with room for eight and a comfy dining place – a perfect area to relaxing.
More features include a beach club that is substantially larger than what one would normally expect on a yacht of this size, with further seating, and a large circular Jacuzzi for 7 persons On the lower deck she has a garage which has enough space for a 6.25 Tender, two jetski’s, kayaks, seabobs & diving gear.
Calypso is powered by twin Caterpillar C18 1150HP engines and has a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
The superyacht is now being prepared for her maiden-trip to Malta and she will be present at the MYBA Charter Show in Barcelona from the 30th of April to the 3rd of May 2019.
