Van der Valk has shared the images of its new concept called Project May. Made in collaboration with Guido de Groot and Diana Yacht Design, this 33-meter all-aluminum yacht is based on the same platform as Blue Jeans, but it boasts a tri-deck layout instead of a raised pilothouse.
As the shipyard mentioned, the yacht ‘combining an explorer look with a superyacht style, Project May has bluewater capacity and is ready to take you on the voyages of a lifetime’.
The shipyard has emphasized that Project May offers a wide range of possibilities for customization. Buyers have the option to include a flybridge and make significant modifications to the interior layout according to their preferences. For instance, the skylounge, initially equipped with a bar, could be transformed into a cigar lounge, a movie room, or even a children's play area.
For inspiration on how the interior of Project May might look, Guido de Groot Design has created these exquisite images of the main saloon, designed in a subtle and classy soft contemporary style.
Currently, the accommodation layout comprises four cabins, including two VIP cabins and two twin guest cabins. Additionally, a spacious owner's suite occupies the full beam of the yacht, providing exclusive access to the split-level foredeck and featuring its own unfolding side balcony.
Project May presents a rare opportunity to commission the construction of a brand-new design. The groundwork has been laid for this 33-meter superyacht, making it possible for her to cruise by 2026.
