The first Magellano 30 Metri was launched in Viareggio. The new Azimut flagship is designed for the experienced owner and connoisseur who plans to enjoy long-distance voyages, whatever the weather conditions and in a constant dialogue with the sea. The Magellano Collection is the Azimut Yachts line for yachtsmen who have a predilection for long cruises: Magellano is always smooth and safe at sea, with low fuel consumption and a wide range of speeds. Design was made by the same team as the previous mobel, Magellano 25 Metri. The exterior was styled by Ken Freivokh and the interior was made by Vincenzo De Cotiis. Freivokh has created refined and modern but in no way aggressive lines that catch the eye of expert yachtsmen, also from the world of sailing yachts. Unexpectedly striking, the teak louvres that close and complement the extensive glazed surfaces in the superstructure are a signature feature of the Magellano line. In keeping with its calling as a crossover, the new 30-meter yacht offers spacious, light-filled interiors that De Cotiis has successfully made intimate and inviting. The new Magellano spread across three decks. The design is inspired by the seamless contact with the sea, from the infinity terrace to the generous terrace on the upper deck for socializing and enjoying the pleasure of cruising in the open air. The huge windows – over 70 sq. m of glazed surfaces – also ensure uninterrupted visual continuity between the interior spaces and the surrounding natural environment. The second-generation Dual Mode hull was designed by naval architecture firm P.L.A.N.A. on a joint basis with the Azimut Yachts R&D center. It ensures an excellent level of stability, keeping fuel consumption. The Magellano 30 Metri is designed to be fitted with the Hotel Mode package, which includes 100kWh lithium batteries so that she can stay at anchor with zero emissions for up to four hours during the day and eight hours at night. In terms of performance the yacht can reach a top speed of 20 knots and cruise at 16 knots.Azimut Yachts, founded by Paolo Vitelli in 1969 and part of the Azimut|Benetti Group, offers owners around the world a wide range of motor yachts from 13 to 28 meters in length, organized in six lines (Verve, Atlantis, Magellano, Flybridge, S and Grande). Benetti’s new Oasis 34M fiberglass superyacht brings the Oasis Deck® solution in a length of just 34 meters. Like her big sister, Oasis 40M, the yacht’s exterior styling is the work of UK firm RWD and the interiors are by Bonetti/Kozerski, the New York based architects specializing in residential and hôtellerie projects, chosen by the shipyard for their international and cosmopolitan approach to design that values the aesthetics of discrete luxury. The yacht has an elegant vertical bow and a sleek outline that slopes gently down to the water, broken only by the wheelhouse with its vertical windscreen and the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Oasis Deck® has five signature features: two wings that open out on either side; an incorporated infinity pool with a glass side wall, surrounded by a sunbathing and lounging area; a 270-degree view aft, uninterrupted by railings and sofas; seamless interconnection with the interior space for a mix of sun and shade, ensuring the entire main deck can be enjoyed at any time of day and, finally, a social design that frames the whole deck as one big oasis of social interaction. Oasis 34M spreads across three decks. She has a large sun deck with hard top, and multiple outdoor areas. For the interior Bonetti/Kozerski chose the neutral color palette and casual feeling. The interiors connect seamlessly with the stern terraces: two curved sliding doors open out onto the main living area and disappear out of view to create one big open space. The spacious full lounge living area is defined by sofas whose flowing contours give the decor a modern and informal personality, while the dining area is located in the skylounge on the upper deck. The owner’s suite with full-height windows occupies the entire forward section of the main deck and can be fitted with a terrace that opens out on the starboard side. The skylounge on the upper deck is home to the dining area. Served by a convenient pantry, it is linked by a dumb waiter to the galley on the main deck and opens out onto a stern terrace furnished with sofas and armchairs. Another outdoor dining area is located on the sundeck. The lower deck for guest accommodation has two VIP and two twin cabins. The wheelhouse is a high-tech helm station with vertical floor-to-ceiling glazing ensuring maximum visibility. The modern design of the console facilitates instrumentation use by the captain and conveys the beauty of cruising to guests and crew. Founded in 1873, Benetti is the oldest Italian shipyard specializing in luxury yachts. Benetti designs, builds and sells composite vessels from 29 to 44m and steel and aluminium boats from 37 to over 100m. The fleet consists of five categories: Class, Oasis, B.Yond, B.Now and Custom to meet all the needs of the market.
