On August 16th at around 12:30, the 24-meter Cantieri di Pisa motor yacht Dea Tuda started to sink in Marina di Camerota, Italy.
According to the online news website, La Repubblica- Napoli, the yacht suddenly began to take on water due to a leak off the port of Marina di Camerota. The Camerota Coast Guard and the Port Authority of Palinuro intervened to prevent further damage. According to the news website Giornale del Cilento, all 10 passengers including the crew, were rescued and in good health.

Dea Tuda was towed to safety at the port, where absorbent booms were placed and her diesel tanks were closed to prevent any form of pollution. The Camerota Coast Guard is now working to keep the vessel afloat with depletion pumps in progress.

The boat was delivered in 1974 and refitted in 2022. She features a wooden hull and superstructure and can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests across a four stateroom configuration.
Cantieri di Pisa shipyard was founded in 1945 on the river Arno, the Tuscan shipyard became famous for its planing motoryachts, such as the Akhir and Kitalpha series designed by Pierluigi Spadolini. Since 2021 Enrico Gennasio is the new owner of Cantieri di Pisa.
