As Feadship superyacht Aquarius and Lurssen's Solandge, explorer yacht Luna has also been spotted in the USA, but in Miami.

Measuring 115m, Luna was launched as the world's largest expedition yacht in 2010 by Lloyd Werft and Stahlbau Nord Shipyards. She has an interior styled by Donald Starkey, whilst Newcruise Design is responsible for superyacht's exterior.

The nine guest cabins are outfitted with natural woods and stone, while cashmere blankets and under floor heating in the en-suite bathrooms provide for every comfort. An expansive aft deck boasts a large swimming pool and sunbathing area. A leisure area featuring a beach club leads down to the spacious swim platform.

The tenders, water toys and exploration equipment can be launched from the large aft door as well as two additional side doors. The vessel hosts a fully-equipped gym and a spa. Luna is also equipped with one mini-submarine and multipurpose lifeboat/limousines, capable of providing VIP transport service or serve as lifeboats at the same time.

As for the performance, the yacht is fitted with at-anchor zero-speed stabilizers. Six MTU diesel engines power Luna to a maximum speed of 22.5 knots, whereas her cruising speed is of 17 knots, with a range of 9,000 nautical miles at 16-18 knots.

In 2014 the superyacht's owner, Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, sold her to his friend Farkhad Ahmedov. In January 2015 Luna was refitted in Bremerhaven.
