The 111.85-meter superyacht Renaissance, also known as hull NB724, has been successfully delivered to her new owner. This flagship motor yacht, the largest ever built by Freire shipyard, currently holds the title of Spain's largest yacht based on her length.
With an interior volume of 7,200 gross tons (GT), Renaissance boasts interior and exterior designs crafted by the London-based design studio Bannenberg & Rowell Design. The naval architecture was skillfully managed by Marin Teknikk AS, marking their first collaboration with Bannenberg & Rowell Design.
While detailed information about the steel and aluminum superyacht remains limited, initial images from March 2023 revealed notable features such as a helipad on her bow and a swimming pool on the main aft deck.
Freire Shipyard expressed their gratitude to the more than 600 individuals who dedicated their efforts to this remarkable project, including their direct personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, financial entities, and the classification society involved. The shipyard also extended a special acknowledgment to the shipowner for placing their trust in their work.
Renaissance will be available for charter in the Mediterranean during this summer through Burgess.
Having a wealth of experience in large superyachts, Freire has previously launched other notable vessels, including the 110.6-meter Falkor (Too) and the 73.6-meter Naia in 2011, along with the 87.1-meter OceanXplorer1 in 2010.
Furthermore, the Spain-based shipyard revealed in September 2022 that they had laid the keel for a new 100m+ superyacht explorer. The completion of the hull and superstructure is expected in August 2023, with delivery slated for 2024.
