Gresham Yacht Design is excited to present its latest superyacht design, Exploris. The 100m-explorer vessel with its Ulstein Group style ‘X-BOW’ is a robust looking yacht that will take her owner and guests anywhere in the world with confidence. Behind the masculine exterior that includes an Ice Class hull, is a high volume superyacht equipped with all the technology and hardware you would expect of a true explorer. As a Lloyds PYC classified vessel, Exploris provides plenty of accommodation and her twin Azipod propulsion system will achieve a range of 7,000nm. When combined with a forward retractable thruster and twin bow thrusters, Exploris has superior manoeuvrability and full dynamic positioning capabilities.
Steve Gresham, director of Gresham Yacht Design explains, “Exploris features a dedicated helicopter hangar that can house an Augusta Grand or EC135.” The CAP 437 helipad is certified for the much larger Sikorsky S76, located aft of the vessel. When guests land on deck, doors forward lead into the heart of Exploris starting at the unusually high beach club where twin 12.5m custom tenders are launched and retrieved from. Once the tenders are deployed, the 18m full beam can be utilised with the added benefit of enhanced privacy that this level affords. When you add a Trident submersible, full dive facilities including a decompression chamber, there is nowhere beyond reach.
“Guests enjoy a fully private promenade deck above the bridge deck with observation saloon and extra wide side decks,” adds Gresham. “The owners have a private deck area and below this there is a forward facing observation lounge above the enclosed mooring room. We have been working closely with interior designers Seymour Diamond to develop interior layouts, architectural details furnishing and finishes.” The main saloon is located forward offering panoramic views and leadsdirectly to the forward facing observation lounge, with a window that extends around the bow for unbelievable views. There are two fully covered aft deck areas, one for dining and one for lounging. Looking aft reveals the 10m long pool fitted with swim jets along with a Jacuzzi and large sunbathing deck.
Gresham Yacht Design is a British design studio with offices in London and Romsey. Led by principal designer and director Steve Gresham, the studio is behind some of the biggest projects to hit the water. A freelance designer since graduating from Coventry University in 1988, Gresham has worked on yacht projects ranging 30m - 155m in collaboration with some of the best known names in the industry including Don Shead, Tony Castro and H2 Yacht Design. In 2012 Steve founded Gresham Yacht Design and began designing yachts under his own banner, and has secured a variety of projects, both sailing and motoryachts.

Turkish catamaran specialist VisionF Yachts has sold the third hull in its highly acclaimed 82ft (24.7m) model series. Construction of this elegant aluminium power catamaran is already underway at the cutting-edge shipyard in Yalova, with its launch scheduled for mid-2025.While the striking contemporary design of this latest vessel mirrors that of its predecessors, VisionF Yachts offers a semi-custom approach, allowing for a unique interior configuration. Adopting a galley-up layout, the design allocates a dedicated corner in the spacious saloon for cooking, thereby maximizing accommodation space in the hulls below. This layout enables the inclusion of a luxurious owner’s suite, three VIP cabins, and two crew cabins. Additionally, this VisionF 82 features a custom jet-ski garage located beneath the bridge deck.The VisionF 82 is establishing itself as a worthy successor to the successful VisionF 80, with multiple hulls already launched. In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the prestigious Monegasque yachting brand Wally has launched the wallybeacon initiative, providing students with a unique opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas. The initiative culminated in a two-day event held on November 18-19 at H-FARM Campus, where 16 international teams competed for cash prizes in three different categories.The wallybeacon event kicked off earlier this autumn with a call for proposals that attracted over 80 students from renowned institutions, including Arsutoria School, Bocconi, H-FARM College, IED, International University of Monaco, and POLI.design. Wally challenged participants to develop ideas in three categories: personal goods, innovative living, and smart services and experiences. The first category focused on footwear, bags, and luggage; the second on multifunctional furniture and functional design objects; and the third on digital products and “phygital” experiences, merging the digital and physical realms.Following an initial selection process, 16 successful teams were each paired with mentors from Wally and strategic design firm MAIZE. They attended business training sessions, received product development support, and were guided through the process of crafting compelling pitch presentations. Participants were encouraged to conduct market surveys, develop business models, and create prototypes, all while emphasizing sustainability.The excitement surrounding the finals was palpable, with Wally Founder and Chief Designer Luca Bassani among the esteemed speakers, alongside notable figures such as Freediving World Champion Alessia Zecchini and International Beatbox Champion Azel.
