55m Baglietto’s C Sold In-House by Camper and Nicholsons
Camper & Nicholsons has announced the in-house sale of the 54.6m Baglietto C, with Fernando Nicholson representing both the seller and the buyer. Following the sale, C will remain in the Camper & Nicholsons charter fleet. This fully custom yacht was delivered in February 2021 by Italian yard Baglietto. C features a highvolume interior, and many versatile areas for different age groups and lifestyles of a family. A multi-deck motor yacht, C can accommodate up to 17 guests across seven cabins, including two master suites along with two VIP suites located on the main deck, as well as two double cabins equipped with Pullmans and a children’s cabin located on the lower deck. Constructed in aluminum, C is a true home away from home. This stupendous superyacht was developed by an award-winning trio. She features two freshwater pools. Horacio Bozzo sculpted social spaces, including a gigantic beach club that opens seaward on three sides. Interiors from Hot Lab pair Italianate sophistication with lashings of marble. In a significant transaction, the 85-meter Oceanco sailing marvel, Aquijo, has found a new owner, orchestrated by Gary Wright and Jonathan Zwaans of Y.CO, introducing the buyer, and Robert Shepherd and Bruce Brakenhoff Jr. of Edmiston representing the seller. The yacht, with a last known asking price of EUR105,000,000, will continue under the expert management of Y.CO.Launched in 2016, Aquijo stands as a testament to the collaborative prowess of Oceanco and Vitters. Her exterior, a creation of Tripp Design Naval Architects, harmonizes with the interiors envisioned by Dölker + Voges Design.Conceived as the world's largest ketch, Aquijo proudly unfurls twin 90-meter masts, each carrying identical 1,192-square-meter mainsails, contributing to a staggering total sail area of 5,051 square meters.Crafted to fulfill the owner's vision of a comfortable, high-performance cruising yacht with global capabilities, Aquijo prioritizes safety, comfort, and performance. Led by Mael Fiolet and Rodrigo Nicholson, the seller's representatives, and with Fernando Nicholson introducing the buyer, this transaction marks a seamless collaboration within the Camper & Nicholsons family.Initially configured as a ketch-rigged yacht, Corto Maltese underwent a remarkable transformation, evolving into a sloop-rigged vessel with a reimagined keel configuration. Boasting VAT-paid status, completion of her 15-year RINA survey, and LY2 compliance, Corto Maltese stood as an irresistible offering.Accommodating eight guests in four cabins, Corto Maltese exudes timeless elegance. The full-beam master suite, granting direct access to the stern, features an ensuite adorned with his-and-hers sinks.
