New hull colour of superyacht Axioma is presented for the 2020 charter season
Since the situation with traveling is finally quickly changing, charterers can really think of spending this summer on board a luxury yacht. Charter superyacht Axioma will be welcoming guests from June 15. She is a 72.5m luxury yacht, built by Turkish custom superyacht builder Dunya Yachts and delivered in 2013. Istanbul-based shipyard undertakes the refit, repair and new construction of yachts in the 70-100 m range.This winter Axioma had a refit and now she reveals new hull color for the charter season. This turquoise blue makes her really special and noticeable. But it is not the only update that the superyacht has received. Also she offers a new selection of tenders and toys. Refitted Axioma got a new captain, Charlie Rowlands, and new stewardesses Leanne Cilia, Milly Bishop and Mojca Mesojedec.The superyacht is built with sophisticated mechanical equipment and meticulous no design. With a beam of 12 m and a draft of 4 m, she has a steel hull and steel superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 1620 tons. Axioma is powered by two Caterpillar engines of 3150 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.She was designed by Sterling Scott with O. Tanju Kalaycioglu developing the naval architecture. Her elegant interior, which creates a bright, summertime feel, was created by the legendary designer Alberto Pinto. It features a colourful palette with reds, emeralds, blues, greens and earth tones. Axioma can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 his luxurious staterooms including a master suite, VIP suite and four guest double cabins, two of which are convertible into twins. Also this massive yacht is capable of having 20 crew members onboard. She will be returning to the Caribbean and Bahamas for planning winter charters later this year. Axioma is available for charter with YPI, with €595,000 per week.
The 45m yacht Amorazur II has been recently seen in Monaco
The 45.51 m motor yacht Amorazur II yacht (ex: La Baroness) was built in 1994 by Palmer Johnson and refitted in 2000. Here you can see the motor yacht on her way to the port of Monaco.With a beam of 8.23 m and a draft of 2.6 m, she features a semi-displacement aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 440 tons. Amorazur II is powered by Deutz AG engines of 1960 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. The motor yacht can accommodate 14 guests in cabins with luxurious interior design by award-winning Terence Disdale Design, which is responsible for the interior and exterior of the some of the world’s most significant yachts. Her exterior design is created by Tom Fexas Yacht Design.
Sold: 35m Tansu motor yacht Only Now
Only Now is a 34.6 m luxury motor yacht. This beautiful semi-displacement vessel has been just recently sold thanks to David Westwood and Vedat Kohen of TWW Yachts.With a beam of 7.5 m and a draft of 1.7 m, she has a epoxy/wood hull and epoxy/wood superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 198 tons. Only Now was built by Tansu Yacht and delivered in 2012. The Turkish shipyard, which has been building yachts since 1996, makes purposefully small production, with only one or two boats built at a time, allowing the yard to focus on quality.The vessel is powered by two Caterpillar C-32 diesel engines of 1700 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. Only Now's maximum range is estimated at 900 nautical miles.The motor yacht can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 well-appointed staterooms, including a spacious owner's cabin, and 2 guest cabins. There is also a big list of toys and the large swim platform onboard.With naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design, the breathtaking superyacht has both the exterior and the interior design by Tansu Yacht Design.The last known asking price for Only Now was €5,900,000.
The Lamborghini of the sea: Italian Sea Group’s new Lamborghini 63 project
Automobili Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group have recently presented the worldwide premiere of ‘Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63’, the Tecnomar fleet’s new super luxury motor yacht with Lamborghini-style design in reference to Lamborghini’s 1963 foundation.This highly-anticipated motor yacht project, developed by The Italian Sea Group, started with several collaborative sessions with the contribution of Lamborghini’s Centro Stile and inspiration from Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, the first hybrid super sport Lambo.With two MAN V12-2000 hp engines, the vessel reaches a top speed of 60 knots and will be the fastest of the Tecnomar fleet.Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said:This yacht represents the significance of creating a valuable partnership, at its best: our co-operation allows the essence of both organisations’ style and expertise to be transferred to different worlds, sharing in their diversity to interpret and add value to the final product in a new environment. The design lines have been interpreted by those created by Marcello Gandini in the Miura and the Countach of the 60s and 70s.The yacht, which is constructed from carbon fibre material, typical of Lamborghini super sports cars, is 19.2 metres long and 5.5 metres wide. The first “Lamborghini of the sea” will be available at the beginning of 2021.
New details about the Ferretti 1000 flagship project
Ferretti Yachts, a brand of the Ferretti Group, has revealed its future in the shape of its new flagship, which is the biggest it has ever built. The 30.48 m long Ferretti Yachts 1000 superyacht with a carbon fiber hull will be ready to cruise in 2021.The brief was focused on delivering unparalleled comfort, so the best of the Ferretti Group’s in-house talents were involved. Quintessential Italian taste prevails in a timeless design that combines clean-cut shapes and refined materials.
